★★★★★The personnel at David C. Gross Funeral Home are truly compassionate. From the first call to them, they were understanding and reassuring that our loved one would be taken care of with the utmost care and dignity, and that our specific religious practices would be honored to the fullest. They kept in touch during the interim between her passing and the funeral, handling all arrangements with the cemetery. They eased the burdens at a very difficult time. And even after the funeral, they reached out to see how I was doing. I couldn’t have asked for a more responsive and caring experience.
★★★★★Upon calling this funeral home, the only local Jewish funeral home I found in town, I was left speechless and appalled. The woman who took down my information was very professional but the gentleman who returned my call a few hours later did so while babysitting his young granddaughter. As he explained the Jewish buial rituals, listing all the prices on the spot, he zipped his granddaughter's jacket and apologized about the distraction. I am very understanding that this is a daily occurrence for this gentleman but there was no empathy and it Felton like a business transaction. He concluded the call by telling me he will send me a pricing breakdown by the end of the day. Everything was overpriced totaling over 10k. After calling around and speaking to a few other funeral homes, I understood just how inflated all of his prices were. They are making a killing on people's grief. I went with Mr Sanchez, a very caring and warm funeral home director who takes his time with clients and is respectful enough to do so in a quiet place with a professional demeanor. It was an awful experience seeing how this gentleman is taking advantage of the Jewish community and it was truly a pleasure to work with the other funeral home who did everything they could to honor my mother with the Jewish traditions that we requested. Including doing the research necessary to make sure he did it right.While respecting all of the proper rituals my funeral cost a third of what David c gross funeral home were asking. Would never use these folks or recommend them. For our Jewish community please think outside the box other funeral homes can do all the same that is needed with the help of a synagogue.

As tough as it is to lose someone you love, trying to make the last minute decisions about their funerals wasn't something we were prepared for. Thankfully...David Gross and his family made this very difficult time of our lives a stress-free experience. Whatever our request, they found a way to accommodate us and keep us at ease. I would highly recommend choosing David Gross and his wonderful staff.
★★★★★Rebekah Foley was so sweet. She took very good care of my sister and of course mom. Although we did not use all of the services available, as we took mom home to CT, I would highly recommend them.

I believe Aubrie King is the best worker for her role, she has a very calm and professional voice, she is patient with any questions or request and give the short and best answers that were required. She did not only accommodated my mom’s body, but made us feel taken care of, thank you Aubrie! Words would not do you justice of how you made me and my family feel and trust that our mom is taken care of.
