Green Street Mortuary was a true blessing during one of the most difficult times for our family. From the very beginning, everything was handled with such care, professionalism, and genuine compassion.
Elaine, in particular, went above and beyond for us while we were arranging my mother-in-law’s memorial. Her kindness, patience, and attention to detail made an overwhelming process feel manageable and supported. She listened to our wishes, guided us through every step, and made sure the memorial truly honored my mother-in-law’s life in a beautiful and meaningful way.
It’s rare to find people who combine professionalism with such sincere empathy, and Elaine did exactly that. We will always be grateful for the respect and care she showed our family. Could it not have been tucked into an alley, where we wouldn’t have to be reminded of death? Isn’t there a time and place for everything? Let’s hide death so we can live in the illusion of life. I have never liked the tawdry scene of brass bands, black hearses, pigs sitting on top of horses!
