The care and compassion we received from Lucas Funeral Home made the passing of my mom a little more bearable. From start to finish, every detail was handled with professionalism and empathy. This is the second time recently that Lucas has handled funeral and burial preparations for my family. Feeling overwhelmed and tired, Emanuel helped me tremendously. He took care to not rush me with anything, was always available if I had a question and contacted other agencies and veteran burial affairs so I did not have to do a thing. I provided the information and he took it from there. He constantly put me at ease and treated my Mom and our family like their family. I will be forever grateful for the caring, kindness and professionalism that was afforded our family. They are the absolute best.
Emmanuel and the entire staff was great with taking us through the entire process. Patience during this hard time was held at top regard, while preparation for our dads funeral ceremony was also done very time efficiently. He is outstanding in everything he does for the families he takes care of, and my sister and I would not recommend any other funeral director to accommodate them through this kind of time in need. He also helped us find a Deacon and Vietnamese translator all during the busy time of Easter, which truly made the ceremony come in full circle with giving our dad and our families the peace they need. Not to mention, their staff Olivia was most sweetest, accommodating, and patient with helping unload and setup food and drinks for our guests. She was like a friend during that entire process.
