My family and I would like to express our sincere and heartful appreciation for your care, compassion, and professionalism during our challenging time. From our first meeting without an appointment, Elon was patient and very understanding of our grief. He was incredibly supportive and collaborated with the family to honor my aunt’s memory.
At the family’s first viewing, Fitz was very calm and sensitive to our cultural customs as well as collaborating with the nieces to make sure our aunt wishes were met.
The homegoing service was on very frigid day and the staff took their time, not rushing the order of the service and treating the guest with respect and dignity. The service was beyond our expectations. Special thanks to the Staff of Island Memorial for the Beautiful memorial blanket of my aunt that was gifted to the family.

Island Memorial Funeral Home provided exceptional care and professionalism during my father’s Homegoing Services. From our very first meeting with Brother Fitz, we knew we were in compassionate and capable hands. He gave our family the time and space to thoughtfully consider our options and helped us create an Order of Service that truly honored both my father and our Jamaican heritage.
Brother Ilan designed a beautiful Funeral Program that captured my father’s spirit with cultural clarity and respect. On the day of the service, Brothers Fred, Ram, and Aaron ensured that everyone who came to pay their respects was welcomed and treated with dignity. Their coordination and attention to detail made a difficult day feel peaceful and supported.
We are now taking part in their Grief Counseling services, which are helping us navigate the emotional journey ahead with care and understanding.
