A representative was able to retrieve my husband's self within a few short hours of his passing. The next day at the funeral home I was greeted by Abi who was a calming presence. I only had a vague idea what was going to happen and when, but Abi took charge, answering my questions and listening to my concerns. Everything went smoothly from start to my receiving his remains. I owe a debt of gratitude to her professionalism.
Everything was handled at a very high professional level. You are treated like part of their family. Our family thanks you for the help, assistance and service provided.
Everyone at Sneed - Carnley are very caring and helpful! They helped us thru both of my wife's parents passing, and now my father. They take a tremendous load off the family by handling everything for you. Abi is so sweet and caring. She went above and beyond coming in on the 4th of July to insure we had my father's remains for his burial on the 7th!! This is a first class funeral home that I would recommend to everyone! Wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!
When my dad passed away in December of 2022, I did not know where to start in how to pick a funeral home. The hospital gave my mom and I a listing of all the local funeral homes. I wasn’t sure which one to go with. So of course I googled searched them and found Viss Family Funeral Home and read nothing but great reviews. And my family and I are very grateful that we chose them. From the second we walked through the door, Joe welcomed us with open arms. He patiently sat with us while we tried to figure out all the funeral details. He listened to everything we had to say. He gave his input but still let us make the final decisions. I still remember the day of the viewing, he gave us time for all of us to say our final goodbyes. And when we were all about to leave he asked my mom if he could give her a hug. He didn’t have to comfort my mom, but he did. That made me appreciate him so much more. When he sent me the final touches for dads video, he surprised me. He had added eagles to the video. The first day we met Joe we told him how dad loved eagles. It touched my heart that he remembered and added that to the video. Joe thank you so much for what you did for my mom and my family. You just don’t know how much we all appreciate you. You went above and beyond our expectations. Again thank you.
After my dad's passing we chose Viss for funeral services. Ronnie walked us through the process and was kind and supportive throughout. He was in contact with us for the week prior to the service, and helped us remember all the tasks we needed to complete along the way. He is an exceptional person and a great fit in this line of work. We never felt pressure in any sense. Cost for service was very reasonable. My family and I highly recommend Viss Family Funeral Home.
