During one of the most difficult times in our lives, the team at Sparkman/Hillcrest provided compassionate and professional care. From our first conversation, they treated our family with kindness, patience, and understanding.
They guided us through each step of the process clearly and thoughtfully, making sure we felt supported and never rushed. Everything was handled with dignity and respect.

Laying a loved one to rest is hard. It’s emotional and complicated. There are so many moving parts to manage while dealing with multiple family members … so coordination, communication and cooperation are essential.
The professionals at Sparkman Hillcrest gave me total support to make difficult decisions and they helped me manage every detail perfectly. I am completely impressed with their staff and the premier level of service they provided to me every single day of our extensive planning for my husband’s visitation in their beautiful building and his final interment.

I would love to give this facility a five-star rating; however, our family has faced significant communication issues with management. We’ve made several attempts to obtain information about the mausoleum's restoration, which desperately needs attention. It floods every time it rains, leaving puddles on the floors. The plaster is falling apart, there are holes in the ceiling, and the niche covers are stained with water.
This facility is not cheap, yet we feel our deceased loved ones are not being cared for. If we tried to sell our available spots, who would consider purchasing them in this condition? It’s disheartening! I’ve visited the office multiple times, played phone tag, and sent a lengthy email with no response.
★★★★★I wish I could say I am fully satisfied with our experience at Sparkman Hillcrest. The graveside service itself was handled beautifully, and for that I am grateful. Unfortunately, the headstone process has been deeply disappointing.
My father was buried here in January. After some delays with our original vendor, I reached out to Sparkman Hillcrest and spoke with Joren in June to move forward with a headstone. At first, it seemed like things were taken seriously and then time went on... nothing in June... nothing in July... Finally, my sister reached out and Jacob became involved on August 25th and assured us we would have a design within two weeks. It is now October, and we still have nothing.
The only time I receive an update is when I make the effort to call, and even then I’m met with vague promises that a design is coming or that Jacob will reach out — neither of which has happened. At this rate, my father will likely reach the one-year anniversary of his passing with nothing more than a placeholder marker on his grave. That thought alone is heartbreaking.
To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Our family has four plots here, yet I can’t even get a call back. A loved one’s final resting place deserves dignity, attention, and follow-through — none of which we’ve experienced in this process.
