I should have listened to Liz's review. For over 60 years, Valley Memorial was a local pillar we could trust, but that legacy is gone. It’s heartbreaking to see a place that once had a true community feel be swallowed up by a private corporation. They still try to market themselves as 'local,' but don't be fooled—they are now part of a group with nearly twenty locations across California, Washington, and Oregon. They throw the word 'forever' around, yet they’ve reportedly cycled through more staff this year than anyone can keep track of. It's clear this is now about profit margins and corporate expansion, not the people of Novato. If you’re looking for the friendly, familiar faces that cared for our town since 1960, you won't find them here anymore.

Our experience with Valley Memorial Park Funeral Home was exceptional. Mr. Eugene Han provided exemplary service in a caring, kind and extremely professional manner. It made the process of managing our dear daughter’s services bearable. We would, without hesitation, highly recommend this funeral home.

I worked with the team at Valley Memorial when my family and I were looking for a place to bury my mother's ashes. The team at Valley Memorial (Katherine, Jesus, George, Raye) were all incredibly compassionate, professional, and responsive during every touch point as we selected a gravesite, planned an interment service, and installed a headstone. They made what could have been a difficult process into a very easy one. They made a hard moment in my life a lot easier. Also, the grounds of Valley Memorial are beautifully maintained. Every time I've visited, the lawns and roads were immaculate. The facilities are in pristine condition. You can tell the team that manages Valley Memorial clearly cares very much for the experience of the people they serve. When you are going through the loss of a loved one, these are the people you want to work with. Thank you again to the team at Valley Memorial. I highly recommend their services.

Really appreciated the opportunity to witness the entire memorial for Mary. So many friends on the monitor brought up many fond memories of spending time with all of them. I learned quite a few things about Mary even though I’ve known her for 37 years.

I have been to Valley Memorial several times over the last few years, and it has been a warm magical experience getting to know the staff and grounds. The grounds are always spectacular. They are well manicured, and it feels like you are someone's home who cares about detail. The grass is green, the trees are well maintained and it's just a memorable place. Every employee that I've come in contact is warm and inviting. Again, it's not a business to them, it's a home and you feel that with every touchpoint. My capacity has been with community events. I cannot express how much I enjoy the grounds and staff that is like a family.
