Becker Funeral Home, and especially Justin, were truly exceptional during one of the hardest times of our lives. My dad was Jewish, as are my sisters, while my stepmom is Christian. My dad wanted a Jewish burial, and although we brought in a rabbi, we chose a non-denominational funeral home. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to honor my dad’s wishes and our family’s traditions. Justin and the entire team worked seamlessly with the rabbi, ensuring every detail of a Jewish burial was handled with care and respect. They provided yarmulkes and mourning cloths for visitors, ner neshama memorial candles, and keriah cloths for our family. They were thoughtful, proactive, and deeply respectful of our traditions. My dad passed right before the Sabbath during a blizzard, and we were also dealing with brutal cold. Justin even provided a basket of hand warmers. That level of foresight and kindness meant so much to us. They were always available and incredibly supportive, providing personal email addresses and cell phone numbers even after hours, so we never felt alone or overwhelmed. They handled everything so we could focus on grieving and being together as a family without added stress. We are deeply grateful for their compassion, flexibility, and professionalism, and I cannot recommend Becker Funeral Home and Justin highly enough.
