If I could give this place a NEGATIVE star I would. The lady who operates this place is super rude and doesn’t care about the dead. They told my aunt that my brother had a hair cut but he did not he looked rough, you could see the glue on his lips it was HORRIBLE! This lady then grabbed the mic in the middle of the service and was asking about a car didn’t even apologize before asking or anything.
My mother-in-law passed away last week and since it was her wish to be buried in Dominican Republic, we decided to go with Funeraria Alvarez. They have a lot of experience with sending loved ones to Dominican Republic and the process was very easy and quick. Ernesto and his team always made themselves available when we had questions and on the day of the funeral, they were very helpful. The facilities in Paterson and Passaic are very neat and well kept. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to bury loved ones in Dominican Republic.

My father recently passed, his last wish was to be put to rest back in DR. Alvarez FH took care of all the necessary arrangements needed here in NJ as well as in Dominican Republic. Ernesto, Brandon, Lucy as well as the rest of the personnel at Alvarez funeral home demonstrated sensitivity compassion and professionalism to our family as they did their best to accommodate our needs during our time of grief.
