When Stepson died unexpectedly at 37yrs old, David Stroud the owner was so compassionate and patient. David bent over backwards to meet our needs. This is is a very loving, clean and well kept facility. David has great communication skills also. We were so thankful God directed us to him
We have used Stroud Funeral Home since we lost my sister in 1998. They have handled all of our family since then. My daughter in 2007 and most recently my daddy. David and Brad Stroud and their staff are like family handling your loved one. I have only good words for all of them. Thank you Stroud’s for being there when we are at our lowest.
I went to a funeral here. When the Hearst brought the body to Forest Park Cemetery the driver got out smoking and threw the butt on road. That was disrespectful enough then during the burial he smoked 2 more cigerettes while he was sitting on someone's headstone. I'm not sure what made this man think that was ok. I think it was disrespectful, not at all compassionate, and was not what the family paid for. To me it was very unprofessional and for a family owned business who claims to care and comfort there families you might talk about RESPECT to your employees.
Such heart felt compassion was showed to me in my time of need.
Extremely professional people, in everything they do, from the beginning all the way to the end, they mades us feel like family. I'd give these guys 5 stars plus. First rate service.
