Paradise funeral home is a beautiful place to lay your loved ones to rest. The staff there are wonderful we dealt with Mr Nelson and he did a great job on everything on helping us get through what we need to get done took a lot of weight off my shoulders. This place will definitely be getting our future business. Again Mr Nelson and your staff bottom of my heart I think y'all for everything.
On December 22, 2025 I received a sales call from Paradise Funeral Home asking if I was interested in pre-purchasing burial plots and headstones. I was stunned. Making cold sales calls about death three days before Christmas shows a complete lack of awareness and compassion. The holidays are already an incredibly difficult time for many people, especially those who have lost loved ones. I lost my mother in 2022. That loss was devastating, and the grief doesn’t disappear with time. For a long while, I was in a very dark place. This was the first year I was finally starting to feel some sense of hope around the holidays again. That call could have easily sent me back to that place. Funeral services exist to support people during the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Prioritizing profit over empathy—especially during the holidays—is deeply disappointing. This review is directed at Dignity Memorial and its parent company, Service Corporation International. I hope it serves as a reminder to consider the emotional impact of your sales practices. My intention is to educate and possibly protect another family or individual who may not be in a position to recover from such a painful and unnecessary reminder of their loss. Compassion should never be optional in this industry.
Myself and family would like to personally thank Mr Bennett and Denise Criswell for the love and comfort they gave us. They worked as a team demonstrating professionalism, compassion, understanding and a positive environment. They made what was a difficult time in our life a much more calm and relaxing situation, by handling everything for us. Ms Denise and Mr Clarence were great to us at our time of loss. They helped us through the process and made wonderful suggestions that made it a memorable experience. We were checked on from time to time to insure everything was as expected and to our liking. All considered it was a much more pleasant experience than we could ever have imagined. I Am a licensed Stylist and was contacted by the deceased loved ones family to do her hair. So of course I said Yes . She was an Amazing wife and mother to my knowledge. Well I was told that I would be contacted by the funeral home with a few hours to discuss day and time. Unfortunately they did not cobtact me until 4 days later . At that time my salon booking were filled. So I told them I wouldn't be able to do her hair because I would be out of town the following week. The rep who called me went on and on about how the deceased had way too much hair and she couldn't do it. 🤔. I said I'm sorry yall waited to lobf to cintact me Then the next week I'm on my business trip and the Representative from the funeral home called me back 2 days before the funeral asking again 🤯. I was like we're are your cosmotologist ? I reminded her that I told her I w a s oot. Why is she calling me back. She began to complain that the deceased had on way too much ext. ( 6 packs is what the assumed and I was floored at that behavior. Paradise North you ha e Gor to do better. Although she was soft spoken her behavior was despicable and disrespectful to say the least . Buyers BEWARE.
